I love being outdoors – camping is my happy place. Last summer I was camping with a group of friends near the Yuba River when we decided to go on what we thought was a short, leisurely hike. I should have known better – there was nothing short or leisurely about it. A few hundred feet of elevation later, we reached our destination: a giant boulder with the river on the other side. We somehow managed to scale it, sandals and all, and were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with an incredible view of the river and a perfect place to jump off. We spent the rest of the day there, sustaining ourselves with whatever we happened to throw in our packs that morning: trail mix, some water, and Clif Bars.

I bring the same sense of adventure to my work as an art director at Fenton, where I work to bring creativity and art design to our clients. From magazine design to social media campaigns, logo design to environmental design, my diverse background allows me to take bold design decisions to my work and my clients.

I started my professional career contracting with the industrial design firm Frog Design. After that, I worked at a young creative marketing firm that specialized in somewhat experimental campaigns, including social and brand management for Scion, a national DJ social/ digital/marketed fully integrated campaign for Sandisk, and a national marketing/social/digital and print campaign for Fernet-Branca. I’ve since supported the US launch of Uniqlo, produced art and culture magazine Sex+Design, and launched “Ever,” Stella & Dot’s skincare brand.
