    Favorite adventure: Exploring

    Favorite flavor: Apricot

Two things – food and travel – motivate me. Exploring the world and seeking out new experiences is what drives me, and my husband has pushed me over the years to be more daring on our adventures. Traveling with him means never sitting still. Hiking through a rainforest in Honduras, soaking in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, bike-riding in Copenhagen and kayaking in Croatia – these are the moments that fuel me and have shaped my best memories. I can also credit him for my love of Clif Bars (my favorite is Apricot). He lived out of the country for over a year and during that time I sent him monthly care packages of the Chocolate Chip. I would buy them by the caseload from my local Trader Joe’s and since then, it’s become a habit. We always bring a few with us on our adventures, because you never know when you’ll need a lift.

When not planning my next trip, I am designing and running national media relations campaigns. I have 15 years of PR agency experience working for iconic consumer lifestyle brands. Before joining Fenton, I owned a consulting practice that specialized in all areas of brand-related communications for clients like SambaFlavor Chimichurri, Maison Kayser Bakeries and the National Restaurant Association. Previously, I was a founding member of The Thomas Collective, a NYC-based communications firm where I worked on food & beverage clients including Jameson Irish Whiskey, Beefeater Gin and Vere Chocolates. I specialized in new product introductions; translating product assets, history and equities to the U.S. market; and creating dynamic, effective partnerships that built a better platform to speak to the press.
